The NALP (National Apartment Leasing Professional) curriculum is focused on the needs of the property leasing consultant and the contribution this professional makes to the successful property. In class, you will gain a new understanding of the many roles you serve to support the management function at your property. At the same time, you will have a new opportunity to share your experiences with other dedicated peers, establishing valuable contacts for the future and increasing your own experience level.

The Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS®) curriculum was developed by the National Apartment Association to provide basic skills training for multi-site supervisors, or managers aspiring to multi-site supervision. The programs are designed to provide the foundation of sound supervisory management and are focused on the needs of the multi-property supervisor who may report to one or more owners or has properties in multiple states

This course is designed as an introduction for new maintenance professionals, or as a refresher for the veteran employee, to give these professionals the knowledge and tools necessary to run an effective maintenance program and pave a career path towards success. The entire CAMT course was revised in 2009, and in June, 2010 CAMT was approved by ANSI (American National Standards Institute) as an accredited certificate program. The NAA Education Institute is one of only seven organizations to have their programs accredited by ANSI, including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the U.S. Army Combat Readiness/Safety Center.
Take this course if you are motivated to not only earn your CAMT designation, but also want to increase your technical, business, and personal development skills while immediately improving on-the-job performance. When you successfully complete the course and meet the designation requirements, you’ll earn the nationally recognized CAMT Designation!
CAMT Training has both classroom and online components. It includes a total of seven courses: the five technical courses consist of hands-on classroom training followed by online practice scenarios; the two non-technical courses consist of online learning followed by online practice scenarios.

Suppliers are important liaisons to the multifamily housing industry. This course is designed as an opportunity for suppliers to hear the everyday challenges faced by the apartment manager customer. The course is ideal for new salespeople as well as for veterans of the industry!

REQUIREMENTS
There are specific requirements for each designation that must be met in order to obtain the designation. You can take a course prior to meeting the experience requirement. Once you’ve met all the requirements, you will obtain your designation. Certain time limits apply and additional extension fees can be paid, if more time is needed.
NALP: Candidacy requirements include completion of the NALP Curriculum, successful passing of final exam (score 70 or above), successful passing of oral presentation and six months of apartment industry experience.
CAM: Candidacy requirements include completion of the CAM Curriculum, successful passing of final exam (score 70 or above), successful passing of the Community Analysis, and one year of apartment industry experience.
CAPS: Candidacy requirements include completion of the CAPS Curriculum, successful passing of final exam (score 70 or above), must complete and earn 500 points from the CAPS Designation Application, and two years of multi-property management experience (CAM, ARM or RAM designates may use their designations in good standing along with two additional years of management experience to fulfill the CAPS experience requirement).
CAMT: Candidacy requirements include completion of the CAMT Curriculum, successful passing of final exam (score 70 or above), and one year of apartment industry experience.
CAS: Candidacy requirements include completion of the CAS Curriculum, successful passing of final exam (score 70 or above), and 1 year of apartment industry experience
