We offer MANY Course Options to suit your training needs and busy schedule:
The Half-Day Refresher Class will bring you up to speed on the latest requirements and changes in the law and will refresh your skills.This is recommended annually for all pool operators.
DATE: April 20 ONLY
TIME: 9:00 am - Noon (8:30 am registration)
COST: $90 GCAA Members • $110 Non-members
The One-Day Course is approved by the state to meet the requirements of North Carolina’s Public Swimming Pool Statutes. Includes: Review of NC Swimming Pool Rules, Disease & Accident Prevention, Pool & Spa Equipment, Pool Calculations, Water Chemistry, Water Testing & Chemical Adjustments, Review and Q & A Session
DATES: February 16, March 16, April 20 (at GCAA) or May 25* (at UNCC)
TIME: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (8:30 am registration
COST: $140 GCAA Members • $165 Non-members
The Two-Day Course (CPO certification) meets the requirements of the National Swimming Pool Foundation (NSPF) Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification and the North Carolina requirements, offering true national certification. Two-day students will use the NSPF Pool/Spa Operators Handbook. Curriculum includes 1-Day topics noted above plus NSPF CPO information, Hot Water Chemistry, Seasonal Pool Care, Renovation & Modernization, Pool-Risk-Energy Management, Tour of Aquatic Facility, Problem Solving, Review and Q & A Session. GCAA recommends the NSPF 2-Day CPO course!

TIME: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (8:30 am registration)
COST: $290 GCAA Members • $345 Non-members (includes both days)
All classes will be held at the GCAA Education Center (2101 Rexford Road, Suite 330-E, Charlotte) unless noted with an asterisk (*).
*UNCC location for May 25 and 26 classes: UNCC Belk Gymnasium, Room 229
